School Accountability

Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)

As part of the Local Control Funding Formula, school districts, the county office of education, and charter schools are required to develop, adopt, and annually update a 3-year Local Control Accountability Plan. The LCAP describes how the district will spend the funds and its goals for improving student outcomes according to LCFF 8 State Priorities set by the State of California.

School Accountability Report Card (SARC)

A School Accountability Report Card (SARC) is required by the California Department of Education to be published by February of each year for the most recently completed school year for each school in the district. The profile provides information about the school and its students, including demographic data, school safety information, academic achievement data, school completion rates, class sizes, teacher and staff information, curriculum and instruction information, postsecondary preparation information, and fiscal and expenditure data.

Cambrian School District is known for its high-achieving students and high-performing schools. Our test results support this reputation. Bagby's API has remained above 900. Bagby School was recognized as a California Distinguished School on three occasions. This award is given to the top 4% of California's 5000 elementary schools. Our excellent academic program addresses the needs of all children.  We utilize benchmark testing to establish benchmarks and to help us meet the changing needs of all our students.  These assessments help us to implement appropriate interventions.

California School Dashboard

The CA School Dashboard contains reports that display the performance of local educational agencies (LEAs), schools, and student groups on a set of state and local measures to assist in identifying strengths, challenges, and areas in need of improvement.

California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP)

The primary purpose of the CAASPP System is to assist teachers, administrators, students, and parents by promoting high-quality teaching and learning through the use of a variety of assessment approaches and item types.

The California Department of Education maintains consistently updated information for all public schools in California.   Comprehensive School Safety Plan for Bagby: Comprehensive School Safety Plan for Bagby 2023-2024
